Could also have some effects on this solo. Overall really nice and well fitting

If you saw the ten plugins in my trumpet effects chain you'd loose your marbles. Aside from the highly present delay and reverb, it takes a lot of work to make close mic'd trumpet sound natural.
Wow, I didn’t even realize I had given the perfect template for a Plants vs. Zombies track. It’s definitely fun to hear that. I’m also curious about the specific challenges you mentioned.
You really took the opportunity to turn it into more of a call and response, and that’s what I love about this remix.
Updated the description!
I can definitely see the Drum'n'Bass part. And then in 7/8? Haha.
I thought the time signature might be a problem, but I specifically chose this track because it has an 8/8 (4/4) part.
I love the melody and athmosphere
Thank you jotrocken! I'm glad you enjoyed the melody and atmosphere! One of the main reasons I started creating in the beginning was I wanted to hear more of the weird random melodies that bubbled up in my head. It's always a warm feeling when somebody else enjoys them.
Thank you again for the review and listen!
Wow. I am so lucky that i am not 1v1 with you. This is amazing and very clever idea.
Not addressing the first sentence, but I appreciate the second, haha. I think contests are just as much about pleasant subversion as they are about trying one's best. Something surprising (in a good way) will stick out and be more easily remembered.
Little unasked advice:
Humanize your chords (go to into your piano roll and to tools -> Scripts (on the right) and humanize. I think that made all my melody and chord progression way better!
Thank you for the tip!
I randomly and by that I mean by accident clicked on this track and it caught me off guard. This could be straight up from a Nintendo Mario Kart game...
So much that I am not 100% sure if this isn't a reupload from a existing song.
I composed it for sure, tho I took a lot of references from Double Up by TRIX
0:11 Reminds me of our collab (music jam) surviving desert.
Really nice details in the composition really fun to listen there are so much layers to this.
And really well made loop
Thanks a bunch! Yeah, well spotted! The descending pluck with the unsteady tempo and the arabesque key is quite similar to one part in that track we made. And I didn't even compose that part in our collab! :D Didn't notice until now and had to actively listen to it haha
Just WOW
Thanks Jonas!
solid
Thanks. I've recently had a small creative block so this isn't my proudest work, but at least I'm happy that I could finish it on time.
Even if you think others did better, don't talk down on yourself be proud of what you made and how far you've gotten. And i read in the description that you had fun and that's the whole point.
True that
